Video Consulting- Oncology

 Oncology is sub divided into Clinical Oncology and Medical Oncology. Clinical oncology is the non-surgical management of malignant disease, using both radiotherapy and systemic therapy (chemotherapy, hormone therapy and biological agents). Medical oncologists are responsible for overseeing the treatment of patients with cancer. This involves discussing therapeutic options, supervising systemic treatments and supporting patients through their care.

Video Consulting is being used in Oncology across a number of Health Boards.
These Services are using the Attend Anywhere platform as part of the NHS Wales Video Consulting Service.
