Following Welsh Government's news of £50 million and a new body to transform digital health and care services in Wales, DHEW held an event looking at the transformation plans and the various reviews, the Digital Architecture Review in particular. A copy of the review can be found below.
- Announcement from the Health and Social Services Minister - Vaughan Gething, announced plans to transform digital health and care in Wales.
- Digital Architecture Review - The focus of the Digital Architecture Review was to assess the extent to which the current Digital Architecture of NHS Wales is ready to meet the ambition set out in ‘A Healthier Wales’, and whether it is scalable to support digital transformation across Welsh health and social care. The review involved technical reviews with NWIS and workshops and interviews with over 100 key stakeholders from NWIS, all Health Boards, and the universities, augmented by three “deep dives” at Aneurin Bevan and Cwm Taf Heath Boards, and Public Health Wales Trust.
